Ringing in the New Year with Mariachis

By: Lyann Urbina

To the sound of mariachis, MiCrédito's staff and management team celebrated the beginning of 2015 in Managua's Seminole Hotel.

The Mexican-themed event welcomed the new year while also celebrating last year's achievements. The party also afforded the opportunity to provide MiCrédito's personnel with information about the institution's 2014 results and the outlook for 2015.

"This celebration is designed to thank our staff for the excellent work that they have done in the last year, and also to promote engagement between the branch teams and the management team," outlined MiCrédito CEO Verónica Herrera.

During the party, the Board of Directors received MiCrédito shirts embroidered with their names, in recognition of their commitment to Nicaragua, and especially to MiCrédito.

An energetic team

MiCrédito staff celebrated their 11th annual party and won a series of prizes for their work, and also for activities like the "Mexican scream," a kind of karaoke, and a dance contest where everyone showed off their best moves in Mexican outfits.
