OikocreditOikocredit
Oikocredit is one of the world’s largest sources of private funding to the microfinance sector. They also provide credit to trade cooperatives, fair trade organizations and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in the developing world. Oikocredit and MiCrédito have been working together since 2011.


Sarona
The Sarona Risk Capital Fund provides high risk capital to give businesses the chance to prove themselves, attract capital, and begin to move to profitability. Sarona has already contributed to the success of many business, funds, and microfinance institutions (MFIs), including MiCrédito.

The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) is the official international development arm of the Government of Canada. Among other programs, it supports private sector development such as financial services to micro-entrepreneurs in developing countries.


Kiva LogoKiva
Kiva is a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of microfinance institutions, Kiva creates the possibility for individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world. MiCrédito offers its MiCrédiEstudio program for students through the help of the Kiva platform.

horsch foundation
horsch-logo The mission of the Horsch Foundation is to invest in commericial projects to conquer poverty on the basis of and in the spirit of the organization Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) and other local NGOs. Their goal is to accompany organizations regularly and with commitment; with this, supporting lasting development of the organization and strengthening their impact on poverty.  

WCCN

Working Capital for Community Needs (WCCN) is a nonprofit organization that empowers low-income Latin American entrepreneurs and small-scale farmers through microcredit, fair trade, housing projects, and women's empowerment initiatives. WCCN has been working with MiCrédito since 2013 and has helped the institution through providing funding for micro-entrepreneurship loans and also through conducting operational performance reviews.

 

Global Partnerships

 Global Partnerships is a non-profit impact investment firm that is based in Seattle, Washington, USA. Their mission is to expand the opportunities for people living in poverty and do so through investing in locally run microfinance institutions. Global Partnerships has a strong presence in Central America and has formed an alliance with MiCrédito in order to support the financing and use of green energy technology in rural areas of Nicaragua. MiCrédito and Global Partnerships will be working in Teustepe, at a MiCredito branch, to educate, finance and support clients without electricity through introducing solar energy products to the area.

Triple Jump

Triple Jump serves as a bridge between developed capital markets in the West and financial sectors in developing countries. They improve access  to appropriate financial services for entrepreneurs at the bottom of the pyramid. By provding capital and advisory services, Triple Jump supports the expansion of viable financial service providers in all stages of development.

Envest is a microfinance cooperative linking socially and environmentally conscious individuals and institutions with the opportunity to support microfinance  entrepreneurs in the development world. The cooperative targets the world's economically marginalized populations by lending primarily to small microfinance institutions that reach geographically and economically isolated borrowers. Envest has provided MiCrédito with loans to support its business loan program for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs.

Habitat for Humanity is a global non-profit housing organization working in nearly 1,400 communities across the United States and around the world. Habitat's vision is of a world where everyone has a place to live. Habitat works toward this vision by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with people and families in need of a decent and affordable home. MiCrédito partners with Habitat for Humanity through its home improvement loan program.

incofin investment management

Incofin Investment Management manages and advises funds that invest in microfinance institutions (MFIs) in developing countries. As a specialist in rural microfinancing, Incofin IM's main goal is to reach out to people who live in more secluded rural areas and/or who are active in the agricultural sector.

Fundacion covelo

Fundación Covelo is a Honduran organization working toward the creation of opportunities for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs. The Foundation contributes to the  development of the microfinance industry through financing, technical assistance, and innovation. MiCrédito has partnered with Fundación Covelo to support rural development.

ADA

Appui au Devéloppement Autonome (ADA) is an organization based in Luxembourg that aims to promote inclusive finance, increase autonomy, and improve lives. ADA works in the field at developing and testing new microfinance products and services, which aim to better meet customers' different needs and contribute to increasing their income. ADA's innovation focuses on five key themes: energy, jobs for young people, farm leasing, micro-insurance, and migrant savings.

LOCFUND

Locfund is a fund that offers financing in local currencies to microfinance institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. The fund's goal is to promote the strengthening of microfinance institutions in the region and to work toward long-term sustainability. Since 2013, Locfund has invested US$ 62 million in financing with additional resources provided through technical assistance.

ezulwini foundation

The Ezulwini Foundation is a USA Colorado-based 501c corporation dedicated to supporting kids and education, women's rights and poverty- fighting initiatives.
